- My best friend and I have been doing a random survey since high school (read a very long time) and to this day it has very consistent results. With no explanation, when asked the question "Pirate or ninja?", most men say ninja, most women say pirate. The movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" skewed the numbers for a while though. Try it out. The most important thing to remember is, don't give any explanation. Just say "Pirate or ninja".
