About Me:: Doing my gap year. Gonna get a job and then go either go to uni first or do military and then uni.

I'm that quiet guy alot of people know, who a lot of people don't really get, who is always looking at the world, considering the options, weighing the possibilities, and who isn't entrenched in what's "cool". If am myself, a position which sometimes brings me into conflict with this homogenized society. I am usually a nervous person, someone who eyes change waringly, someone who goes at his own pace, and doesn't like to conform with the generic model. I often find myself alone in that I don't exactly fit in with the world.
I'm not an arachist nor a loner, yet refuse to bow to society's whims, nor feel obligated to have thousands of MySpace friends, to fill the void. I like my own company, always have. I prefer to be on my own, and now and then with a select group of real friends. I am an avid futurist, and follow modern ideals of respect, tolerance and not constantly using CAPS lock in MSN. Despite this I often feel anger even repulsion at our "enlightened modern" society, and thusly feel absent from it. I like to read a lot, but am also partial to stupid videos of people being hit in the groin and Jackass clips.
