Aliens

Do you believe in UFO's? Or perhaps little green men?

I personally think that human stupidity knows no bounds, and that it is severely unlikely they exist. But hey, nowadays it seems as though its more important to say, "hey i have an idea about aliens" than it is to disprove that idea. Also, most of the people who belive in aliens are crazy.

No, I'm not saying that life made outside of those things could survive...I'm saying that life could survive under different CONDITIONS depending on what it needs to adapt to.

Survival only applies to things that are alive, if they never have a chance to exist then they cannot adapt and overcome. If you have a theory about how something can evolve without the necessary conditions for life that doesn’t involve a god, then good luck.

XD I'm not saying that those original conditions are not present, but perhaps in a different form. Instead of water, perhaps another substance that we have yet to discover. After all, we have creatures in this world that can survive without light and instead feed off of chemical energy radiating from the planet's very core.

But I guess it doesn't really matter because what I'm saying is mostly speculation.

We know of all elements that exist from the periodic table, considering their all made from different numbers of electrons, protons and neutrons from that point it was like playing battleships. Elements like einsteinium were made under special conditions, even if only for a few seconds.
The most abundant element in the universe is hydrogen; they can detect it through the reflection of light through it (i think).

Now there may be a difference in the distribution of matter in the universe as per the blast effect of the big bang (my theory). Also it may be possible to create chemicals from antimatter or even a mix of antimatter and matter, provided their kept apart by strong magnetism, I think they say the pressure between two atoms is as much as that of the sun.
I haven’t learnt much of this in class so it’s a little unofficial…

Yeah, I know basic chemistry (Although I do start the actual class this fall) from 8th grade. Only certain conditions work for a few elements on the table.

Neither have I, but you still bring up an interesting point. I say we find someone who is really well versed in the subject and ask for their opinion on this.

The thing that makes the alien story unbelievable for me is the general diversity of the claims made of observed, UFO, Alien, crop circle and other phenomena.
For me a large percentage of the phenomena observed by one person are caused by Neurological and Psychological disturbance. The rest are exactly what we call them, unexplained phenomena. Or misinterpreted phenomena such as St. Elmo’s fire, which is well known although i have not found a picture of it!
