Humanity 101: An Informal Discussion on the Craziness of our Species
Hi, thnxs for poping in on this new forum...I set it up as an oppurtunity for people to voice their annoyances and generally rant on basically how frickin' amazing it is that we haven't managed to kill ourselves off yet. I know that there a many a surpressed rant(er) out there and I hope that people can find a place to voice their ideas and thoughts. In the PC (politically correct) wasteland run by the appeasement-Nazis that is the modern media and government criticism and annoyance is often surpressed. Any and all views are welcome as long as you can back your views up with decent support.
Anyway...I personally am an avid ranter and often get utterly pissed off with the amount of useless crap that pollutes our world. I want to make clear from the offset here that I'm not some kind of nihlist-anarchist who is trying to get you to abandon your material goods and go live in a commune, merely someone who hopes to finds commonanilities with others concerning the amount of shit that we have to endure, everything from fashion through, the abuse of political correctness, to stupid companies and their gimicks *cough Mac cough* etc.

What has me currently annoyed is the ridiculous attitudes and behaviours of people of faith in this apparently "modern" century. We live in a world in which science has replaced religion as the main source of information and our notions of how the universe functions, yet there are those who still refuse to acknowledge the outdated practices to which they cling to and consequently ignite a lot of conflicts. Nowadays you can't express these views without being being assualted by complaints from religious people (i.e. evolution vs. creative design in America) and the ridiculous "touchiness" of the Muslim community who for the vast majority wish to portray Islam as peaceful yet end up burning effigies, flags and undertaking honour and religious killings thus merely further portraying themselves as violent, which merely causes more hostility from the "western" community.
