Communism capitalism and you
My amazing discovery will probably bore the shit out of 95% of you. But this forum is mostly for my happiness, so don't interfere. Anyway back on topic to my incredible revelation: I can see the sence in communisum. Laugh all you want but I truly think I'm on to something here. I am also aware that I spelt cummunism and capatalism wrong, forgive me.
For those of you who don't know, communisum is a form of goverment, that believes that all humans are equal. That is the basic principal. And it's totally true. Think of it as world peace, an unatainable goal, with good morals. The whole main idea is good and all, its just the bitty variables that trow the whole idea off the track: Power hungry goverment officials who can,t deal with the situation and loose control. Mabye you can see my point, the idea is great but unreachable because a country at peace is unatural and would tear a hole in the universe and we'd all die. Kidding! So the in a communist country, no matter what you do, lawyer or leach farmer, you'd get the same amount of money.
Capatalisim is when people have to work heard to suceed in life.
Another thing is that in a country ruled by a capatalistic (???) goverment, the people are more motivated to succeed so they can have money to buy themselves nice things. Ahh, so goes the selfish ways of humans. And that capatalisstic country will succeed in their economy, and be a powerful country (ie. Canada or US of A). A communist people will on the other hand all have the same things, and no matter how hard they work they all get the same amount of money. So they are pretty un-motivated, and their economy drops, extra...extra....(ie. ex-comu Russia).
So ends my rant on communisum, I hope we all learned somthing today.

Recently I posted this forum to express my feelings on how I thought Comunnism is a good idea but like all ideas, put in the hands of the wrong people can go terribly wrong. I made myself very clear in my beliefs that Comunnism wasn't all that bad, and only that those who implided it all turned out to be power hungry and imoral.
There were some [many acctualy] who called me a comunnist and questioned my ideas and called my an idiot. All different religons used their faith as an excuse to be communist haters. I do realize that people are quite opinianated on the web, and their remarks did not bother me...their hypocrocy did.
Be it Christen or Athiest they all seemed to have a bone to pick with the Commies. I am so shocked that they'd have the nerve to be that stupid. I might point out that these are certan individuels I am referencing and I am in no way speaking of all christens or all Athiests, etc.
Anyhow, I thought it so wrong for these individuals to be that hypocritical.
I should probobly back myself up in explaining why I find these people so hypocritical. Here is how I'll do it, below are some of the major religeons beleifs that all revolve around the ideal of "treat others as you would like to be treated." The people who used their religon as a defence in saying how un-jewish it was to be a commie and all that were actualy contradicting themselves.
Buddisum
One who, while himself seeking happiness, oppresses with violence other
beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter
Christianity
"Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful."
Hinduisum
That one I love who is incapable of ill will, And returns love for hatred
Islam
Woe to those . . . who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, but when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due
Judaisum
That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn
There you have it friends ethics of reciprocity.

I have been advised to emphisize that the privious update was note 100% directed at members of this conversation. Many people have expressed their religeous views on the matter to my face and it is mainly of them I speak. However I am still keeping in consideration some members of this fourum, it's probobly not you though...so don't take the previous Update with that much hurt.

I found this picture on google, and I am really annoyed with the nerve of some people. It's as if I were to say I hate Americans and their war. [please don't freak out and call me an anti-american, im only using it as an example]. That is a stupid statment, it is un-educated and could hurt alot of people. Anyway, my main point is: You don't hate americans...you hate George Bush. He's the one making all of the descisions, don't go blaming anythingon the population, who infact might not even share his beliefs.

Supposing we're only talking abut the intentions of communism (not the real state), consider the following: Do you think that people were all given the same amount of money no matter what their jobs, so that people would be happy with their work and the country would do better?

i don't disagree with you per se on the principal of communism, in that as a means of creating socially the equality that is inherent in the spirit of all people it is a good idea. But the world is a practical place, so try to look at it from a different point of view. In a communist society, all people recieve the same amount of everything, so that no one wants and jealousy is avoided, conflict will not, in theory, arise. This is all well and good for those who toil, who earn what they get. But humans can be lazy things, and a society that allows those who do nothing to get the same as a fellow who breaks his back for twelve hours a day is no place i want any part of.
Ayn Rand goes through most of this in Atlas Shrugged, and Terry Goodkind rehashes quite well in his Sword of Truth series, so iwon't go into detail. The suggestion that capitalism is somehow wrong or greedy strikes me as wrong itself. Yes, like anything it can and does get twisted, but giving a man the opportunity to improve his life and that of his family (mating and procreation being the sole purpose for any and all organism(S) to exist) seems to me a better option, both spiritually and on an evolutionary basis.
Now take Robert Heinlein; writer, military man, and genius. He (and now I) believe that for a society to ever improve, the "culls" need to be burned out of the species in the crucible of evolution. Why should i risk my welfare for a man who has no drive to survive? Those who will not put in the effort to achieve should not have life handed to them, you do them no service that way. If a man is willing or even wants to exist solely on the generousity of others on a permanent basis, he is an impediment to the species. I don't include those with disability in this group, as that is a situation that can't be helped.
sorry for the mega-long post, but this is something i'm interested in too: the idealistic view VS the pragmatic view in almost any situation. It just works out that practically, capitalism works better, as it makes people WANT to survive and succeed.

I agree that communism sounds like a good idea, in its purest form. However, in real life, as you say, humans are greedy, and also lazy. As humans, we need a motivation. as the communist governments of the past discovered, without money, the only real motivation is the fear of personal injury or death. another option would be to try to change human nature through brainwashing (see Ayn Rand's book Anthem)

Haws the old commie movement in Austria? You stayed quite neutral with the USSR, even sold stuff to them. I'm sure that with all that stuff you sold them they'd rather have it for free i.e. destroy your government and replace it with a commie. After all they had enough tanks...
