Actually, Vader is a Sith Lord. The Sith have stronger force powers so he could see the Ninja coming before the Ninja got there.

Sorry Ninjas, Even if you manages to take out Darth Vader [and lets be realistic, you cant] Then we'd come and blow you away because Darth Vader probably employs pirates.
So to Summarize :
NINJA < Pirate < Darth Vader
