Ninja Vs Batman

Hmm, Batman himself is, more or less a Ninja, and has bested at least one in the past. Who would you put money on if another fight was to come up?

It takes a Ninja to defeat a Ninja. Batman would win.

batman wears rubber, so he's well protected. But ninjas have the ability to do some awesome techniques, and batman wouldn't even see it coming. In fact, Robin is a ninja in disguise.

The Batman/Ninja Connection:

Batman wears a type of advanced body armor/survival suit that was developed by Wayne Industries (Ninja of old often wore chain mail hidden under their regular clothes). The armor is lightweight and it's able to breathes but also protects against heat and chemical weapons. Think of it as a bullet proof gas mask for the body that can stand extremes in temperature. Combine this with Bruce Wayne's training in Ninjutsu and the many hidden weapons/tools at Batman's disposal and you have a very formidable adversary.

Like the Ninja of old Batman uses whatever advantage that is available to him. The newer and more exotic and unknown the better. This ups the fear factor as rumor and exaggeration give way to a type of distorted terror among evil doers. Batman would indeed "see them coming". Like his namesake Batman has a type of built in radar that can track motion. Currently this very same technology (radar on a microchip) is being fitted into modern luxury cars as well as closed circuit camera systems. Anything that is available to the modern military would be primitive compared to what a multibillionaire was able to develop. He makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, and intimidation in his war on crime. In the literature of the time of the Batman character's creation, Zorro and Sherlock Holmes were strong archetypes. This blends well with his supposed Ninja origins. If I were a 'rich kid vigilante wanna be' I'D go to the orient to train under a Japanese Budo Master.

Robin is an apprentice. Just as Samurai often took to them young men to mentor, so is Dick Grayson a young ward to the Billionaire Playboy . From the western perspective this relationship would seem to hinge on that of homosexuality but it's actually a type of 'guiding into manhood' that precludes becoming preoccupied with the opposite sex (chasing women is often a source of many men's misspent youth). In this sense Robin is actually a Samurai/Ninja in training. George Lucas ripped off this idea from the Japanese when he made the film Star Wars. This is reflected in the Jedi master and the Paduwan learner relationship. Incidentally, Darth Vaders helmet is a Cross between the Samurai Kabuto and the Nazi Stormtrooper.

The Joker, a recurring villain who is an insane homicidal clown, represents chaotic irrationality and all that Batman opposes. The Ninja, like Batman, valued reason and was willing to make his life a sacrifice for the greater good as an agent of justice, no matter what hardship befell him.

Oh... someon make 'their homework.

Me opinion: That History of "batman can take down superman" is SHIT. Yes, Batman can take down superman if batman is prepared to the confront and superman is not. If they face themself and decide to fight, Supes would make bruce his bitch! If supes is prepared to go after bats, no kryptonite ring would help the cape cruzader.

Like Ninjas and pirates. Considering 'tat theres no Kryptonite for pirates.

Bat is on his universe one of the greatest martial artist of the world. Theres a dozen people who can take him on a fight. Even considering meta-human population. That includes ninjas.

Even for that, Bat's so resourceful that he can take down someone with tha upper hand. There's aways a gadget, a mastermind manouver or even a psicologic intimidation strike that o homem-morcego can put on the table.

The average ninja, Bats take by dozen. The well-prepared ninja can make him swet. The grans masters with magic powers may even have advantage, but it's mostly going to their down.

Just... respect Superman. tha guy can trow a mountain of kryptonite to the space.

Hey, don't let weirdos co-opt a fair tradition.!
Wesley Snipes was no boy-whore bitch to Sean Connery in "Rising Sun" as kohai to his sempai. Hell, I would never have learned how to romance the ninja laydeez if it weren't for the more learned ancestors teaching me to avoid the ones who smelled like an off day at the fish market!

Mustard gas is not always fatal, marines are trained in a locked room on what to do if their masks fails and mustard gas seeps in. Worst gas scenario, you have a hospitalized marine, not a dead one. If they died, I don't think they would be using that kind of training. For the sake of argument, lets just say Batman has tear gas. That's still one point for him.

Guys, I think you have your CS gas mixed up with Mustard gas. Mustard Gas (Yperite) was first used by the German Army in September 1917. It was one of the most lethal of all the poisonous chemicals used during the war. It was almost odorless and took twelve hours to take effect. It was a horrible way to die. The skin of victims of mustard gas blistered and itched, the eyes became swollen and sticky with pus filled sores and they began to vomit and cough uncontrollably. Mustard gas caused internal and external bleeding and attacked the bronchial tubes, stripping off the mucous membrane. This was extremely painful and most soldiers had to be strapped to their beds. It usually took a person four or five weeks to die of mustard gas poisoning. I don't think the marines use this in their training. Mustard gas and other chemical weapons are prohibited by the Geneva convention (1925).
