I'm back!

Well people, I'm back. It's been quite awhile since I've done anything here, and since Myspace and Facebook are becoming a bit boring now, I think I'm gonna hang out with all of you crazy awesome people again! :D

Anywho, a lot's changed since I left... I've begun my college education, and it's going quite well so far... (Dean's List two semesters in a row FTW!) I actually love school now, and I can't wait to go back for the Fall semester. (yea, I'm kind of an egghead at times... :S ) Still single, but not exactly looking, so... Yeah.

SO, I was looking through all my stuff and found the one and only blog I have ever written here, which was slamming anime quite viciously... And, I just wanted to say now, that...

(looks over both shoulders...)

I no longer hate anime. Yes, I have become slightly educated with a lil bit of the anime culture, and I must say, it's not all bad. True, it is an acquired taste, especially for us Americans, but I have grown to appreciate certain aspects of it.

This is not to say I'm opening my arms to everything out there, it just means I'm taking a few steps into this, just checking it out, you know? And, after reluctantly testing the waters, I began to watch Naruto on a regular basis, just streaming it off the net, (Hulu FTW) and I found myself drawn in by the story and character development. I started from the first episode, and nearly became addicted...

Then I kind of wanted to try something else, to see what else was out there, and one of my friends at school introduced me to Bleach. And now, 4 seasons later, I LOVE BLEACH. Yes, I actually LOVE it. I don't know what it is that has me addicted, but whatever it is, they're doing it right. I'm quite hooked. XD

And now, I've recently started into Death Note, and I'm impressed at the brilliant characters and how the story is moving along. The psychological aspect is keeping me very interested, not to mention the realistic styles of animation... (which is a bit more to my style) It's just great.

And so, to all you anime fans I might have slightly offended... I apologize for being blunt, cynical, and possibly a bit rude. I have now seen what you have seen, and appreciated it on a new level.

All this to say, I'm a fan of intelligent anime, such as the ones listed above. If you have a favorite anime and think I would be interested, please comment and share! I'd love to see what else is out there.
