Master Archetypes Astrology

This is a blog for those of you who have been interested in the astrology work that I do. Let me know if you are okay with everyone seeing the info that I reveal about you. Just join in whenever.

First of all I'll tell you a little about how I know from experience that astrology works. I have been studying and teaching metaphysics for almost 14 years through the School of Metaphysics. We teach mental disciplines such as: concentration skills, dream interpretation, meditation, permanet healing, kundalini energy, chakras, lucid dreaming, memory exercises, breathwork, and life force exercises.

Everything we do is very practical and useful to anyone. For example: I can hold my attention for longer periods of time. I have healed my body of several problems over the years including nearly eliminating headaches, improving my eyesight naturally, and barely every having a cold or flu for the last ten years. Also I can listen to people more completely and I have manifested many desires through visualization and universal laws.

The point of me describing all of this is that I have taken what I have learned through the School of Metaphysics and I apply it to astrology.

Astrology is the study of how planetary and celestial influences affect our consciousness, our character, and in turn how we behave(choose actions). I have found that there is a great deal of truth to Western Astrology. Especially considering there are so many different influences in the chart: Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Saturn, planetary aspects, and more. Not to mention Mayan Astrology and Chinese Astrology which also apply.

So I'll put a tease of basic info on each of the signs and if you want me to give you some feedback on you speficially then send me your birth info on my comments (main profile page). I'll post what I find to this blog for now.

Aries: Yes these guys can be impatient and quick to respond or react to anything. The old saying goes...ready, FIRE!, aim...Aries people can tend to get in your face, just don't be fooled by the ol' Aries bluff, which is when they act like they got everything taken care of. Ask and look for facts. On the upside, Aries can get shit done fast when they want to. From a soul's perspective they are learning how to develop their own sense of Identity and Authority. They are also learning how to BE and RESPOND in the Present Moment. Ram Das, the author of the book Be Here Now was/is an Aries.

Taurus: Taureans know the importance of the long haul. I've known some who have plodded on towards a goal for years. They are more like bulldozers than bulls. It may take them a while to get somewhere, but they'll get there and there ain't nothi'n gonna stop'em. Taurus's also have an amazing capacity for manifesting beautiful things into the physical world. They love beauty and anything considered to be of high quality. From a soul's perspective they are learning how to understand their own sense of Self Value and Self Worth. They are also learning how to stand for what they know to be true while giving others the space to move through their own learning process.

Gemini: Gemini's, more than any other sign of the zodiac, need to learn to concentrate. Learning the science of holding singular attention is crucial for a Gemini. Without adequate undivided attention Geminis go off on random tangents, everywhere. With a focused and disciplined mind Geminis produce stuff like...well like M.C. Escher, who had his Sun and Moon in Gemini. Very optically stunning and almost mind altering art. From a soul's perspective they are learning self expression, communication, and radiant thinking (like a mind map). Geminis are also learning the inter-relatedness of one thought or thing to all other thoughts or things. The distillation of this is equivalent to the Mind of God.

Cancer: For Cancer's it always comes down to one of two choices: 1. Produce learning, growth and understanding of a permanent nature or 2. Remain hopelessly attached to something that is temporary (i.e. ideas, people, places, possession, and especially feelings/emotions). This is true for everyone, however Cancer experiences it more readily. Cancer's inner Capricornian nature can benefit from the old Capricorn edict of "I use" since Cancer's need to use their relationships and experiences for more than transitory gratification. Cancers can be super warm and loving as well as multi-talented and incredibly funny. From a soul's perspective Cancers are learning how to be sensitive to needs inwardly and outwardly. They are also learning how to nurture creations into existence with completeness.

Leo: Contrary to what most people think, Leos are not all about me. They are all about me and you. After all there has to be someone to look at me while I'm taking center stage...right? Most of the Leo Sun and Moon signs that I know love to have a good time. The one's who have pure hearts are usually up for metamophasizing any mundane event into productive entertainment. From a soul's perspective Leos are learning how to aspire to greatness so that all people can follow their example and reach for personal greatness, the most exalted standards and true Samadhi, which is the highest thought imaginable. Leos are also learning how to back their imaginations with the continued series of choices of a strong will.

Virgo: Virgos know the value of squeezing the toothpaste from the end up, the value of turning off lights in a room that isn't being used, and the value of proper grammar (since one misplaced word can completely change the meaning of a sentence). Some of these people may appear obsessive complulsive, however they really just mastering the fine art of paying attention to details. Virgos can inspect the parts of something thoroughly. They recognize that one weak link in the chain can cause the whole system to fall apart. As long as they can keep the whole in mind while looking at the details, they can become master craftsmen on any level. From a soul's perspective Virgos are learning productive discernment. They are also learning how to see the forest and the tree at the same time.

Libra: Libras are some of the wackiest people you will ever meet. I think it's safe to say that Peter Pan was probably patterned after a Libra. It is true that Libras seem to swing from one extreme to another. The balance they are seeking though is not a stagnant even measure on both sides of a scale, nor is it an equal division of time throughout the day in units life experience. Libras are learning to integrate everything that is important to them into a unified sense of wholeness. From a sou's perspective Libras are learning how to initiate motion in the life then follow through to completion, all the while setting into motion the next goal, or step of creation. Libras are also discovering how new ideas are generated and where they come from.

Scorpio: A much better symbol for Scorpio is the Phoenix rather than the scorpion. It is true that some scorpios are possessive, manipulative, controlling, deceptive, and capable of strong acts of vengeance. These are, however, simply manifestations of an undisciplined mind and therefore an ego that has run rampant. Scorpios are really here to learn how to transform their lower nature into the infinite possibilities of a mature creator. Creative power, zeal towards a high minded cause, and steadfastness in purpose are part of the true Scorpio makeup. From a soul's perspective Scorpios are learning how to master cause and effect through accelerating and catalyzing the movement of thought to emotion to action to manifestation. Scorpios are also reaching to be enlightened alchemists, turning situations which seem inevitably hopeless into opportunities for golden wisdom, love, and understanding.

Sagittarius: Sagittarians are truly great adventurers...most of the time. It is important for Sagittarians to recognize both the outer and the inner journey. Many of them get so caught up in going to new places and in seeking knowledge and experiences outside the Self they can miss the depth and reality of what truly lies within. Their expansiveness, vision, and quest for truth can be fantastic, so long as they don't get distracted by fantasy. It's important for Sagittarians to use daily commitment by taking action on their ideals and goals every day. Otherwise those big visions can remain day dreams only and another lifetime comes and goes. From a soul's perspective Sagittarians are learning how to distinguish the difference between perception and imagination. Perception is a receptive function of the still mind directed to one point. Imagination is the aggressive action of the mind to create new mental images that lead the Self to new and improved experiences in life. Sagittarians also need to remember that their greatest enemy is not some person or establishment outside the Self, but rather their own limited mindset and ego.

Capricorn: Capricorns are fascinating enigmas. More than any other sign of the zodiac they have the capacity to apply what they learn to daily life in the most practical, understandable and down-to-earth way. Abstract universal truths become virtues and principles to live by each moment. Spiritual experiences get incorporated into desicions such as who to have as friends and what kind of livelihood is the most personally and ethicly sound. Without a doubt Capricorns have what it takes to bring Heaven to Earth. The greatest problem for many Capricorns is actually getting off the Earth to begin with. They have a tendency to get stuck in very physical ways of thinking and living. If they can't see it, touch it, or hear it with their physical senses then it gets dismissed. Capricorns need to have experiences that put them way out of their comfort zone, then be willing to receive those experiences for the the depth that is provided. From a soul's perspective Capricorns are learning to initiate stability in all areas of life. This is most easily seen as they make the abstract and theoretical come to life through very real and direct experiences. Their ability to reproduce experiences and teach this to others is what makes them the most useful.

Aquarius: Aquarians are aliens, atlanteans, and astral entities from other planes of existence. Their very nature makes them different from everyone else around this and they usually like it that way. I urge everyone to have compassion for these people because deep down they are usually very well meaning, although perhaps the hardest sign to understand in the whole zodiac. The very energetic make-up they were born into impels them to think outside-of-the-box, which also can make them appear random, spaced out, forgetful, distant, and sometimes unfeeling. This astrological genetic code also gives them the ability to project their attention into crystal clear future probabilities generated by their imagination or image-making faculty. These visions can be paradigms for a much more whole and complete way of living life. From a soul's perspective Aquarians are learning how to produce understanding from experiences and how to make their visions a reality by including many people in the creative process.

Pisces: Pisces is the twelth and final sign of the zodiac. They have the greatest potential for total transfiguration and transcendence of all limitations of the physical world. To achieve this they absolutely must learn various forms of mental discipline including: concentration skills, dream interpretation, meditation, and visualization. Without these disciplines Pisces tend to be like leaves floating out in the middle of the ocean, completely at the mercy of external forces. This is largely because Pisces are the most changeable and absorbant of all the signs. From a soul's perspective Pisces are learning how to transmute their amazing power of belief and faith into the direct grasp of truth and knowing that step-by-step experiences provide. Mental disciplines help them to be awake to this process. Pisces are also learning to unlock the infinite power of emulation.
