Yeah totally!
You can see that right at the begining of the first game.
There was a line of master cheef that I remember:
"Don't get any funny ideas again."
That was when she was "inserted" (can't think of another word) in him the first time.
Anyway, I'm half way trough Halo 1
If I find somethin out I'll tell you.
It won't be bad if you read the books.
I'm too lazy for that.

cortana had been watching the Master Chief (quit calling him master chief, thats his rank. his name is john....cant remember his actual last name but he is spartan-117) and wut he is talking about is goin deep into his mind and looking at his deepest desires.


read the books. i dont really know wut questions of mine came up after i read them....but they do answer a lot of questions that rise from the games.


to tell you the truth im waiting for someone to ask this stupid ass question....."are there other spartans, and if there are where are they??"

If I remember right, Bungie hasn't revealed a last name for our mysterious John 117, but they do call him john on a regular basis in the books. His name is even revealed during the end cutscene of the third game. Anyways, Cortana seems to like the chief, but since she is an AI, they can't really have a "relationship" Often, it's like, not to refer to too obscure books, but like the Daemons in the His Dark Materials Books. Cortana becomes another part of who John is, and while this isn't a sexual relationship, there is definitely a connection there and it runs deep.
