ok im tierd of posers....number 1...ninjas don't dress in all black......if u saw a guy like that....ude know he was a ninja then kill him.
well real modern ninjas wear casual clothes,but at night we ware spec-ops BDU'S.
i have several knives small combat weapons.......gear...and maby a few explosives......
but no i don't wear all black like th ask a ninja......real ninjas don't even wear those anymore......i meen i have mouth cover like kakashies off naruto....but i were modern stuff...anyway does any1 else agree?

I strongly disagree I believe true ninjas wear all black. They also wear normal cloths but when it comes time to kill stuff they wear there black ninja suite. A true ninja is never seen so you would have little chance of killing him before he stuffed your face with macaroni and cheese, making you shit rattle snakes that would attack you killing you instantly. Your swiss army knife, plastic ninja stars and play dough shaped as a stick of TNT would do little to help you!! Real ninjas wear black

also my clothes in picture is just a ninja jump suit got off a site...i got spec-ops b-d-u.....much more sturdy....yes it is black....(bends in night time)....but most of my weapons are....not plastic...none of them are....i buy most gagets from
online dealers....self defense shops have lots of stuff........besids.......would you realy want to be waring somthing that tight.......didnt thnk so

i agree wit alex. a person dressed in all black, may seem lyk they can blend into the night, but a bit to much movement, and ur covers blown. and on top of that, black isn't a natural color, so it sorta sticks out

Dude Ninja outfits arent tight they are loose fitting, in fact they border sometimes on obnoxiously baggy. The reason it is a full black costume is not out of tradition, but the fact that it reduces glare from external light sources, I mean, imagine a red or white or ORANGE (<--- naruto eww gross) ninja, he would practically shine like a flare under moonlight, streetlight, etc etc. If you are a REAL NINJA you would not even be seen till your sword is already jutting from his stomach, so what does the traditional outfit affect his ability to fulfill missions anyways? and why in the world do you talk like you just recovered from a stroke?!?! BYAH CONFUSING MUST KILL ALL!!!! tommorrow, too lazy today.

A Ninja wears what ever gives him an advantage. Yeah Ninjas will wear all black, but only when it is an advantage to them, such as when it is night. The whole idea of wearing black is it help them not to be seen, if wearing purple were to help them not to be seen, then they would wear purple. If wearing all white would help them not being seen (such as in the winter with snow), they will wear white. It is all camouflage, pure and simple.
A ninja carries what he needs in order to the mission done. If they need a gun, they'll use a gun. If they need a knife or sword, they'll use it. If they need a grappling hook, they bring it a long. If they don't needed, they won't use it, or at least for that mission.
In short, A Ninja does what needs to be done to win.

Like I have had stated a million times before there are different types of Ninja. This topic has been started in reference to the Modern Day Ninja, such as Military Spec Ops Units. In a world that is always changing, you need to adapt or die. Ninjas have evolved and changed to make the demand of the world, medieval knights and samurai didn't make changes and thus no longer became an effective means of combat.
