UNLESS...

The clones may be evil. The ninjas could have made the clones to do their bidding, and the clones (having the same ninja mindset) wouldn't have let them.

They could be so filled with hate that they could be ignoring the rules of ninja-ness and be down to dirty tricks.

Who knows, it could be the other way around!
