I don´t know SUE someone because of a nickname, buttt it´s kinda being tricky when you get a name almost exactly like the one of The Ninja. That´s why you don´t see Loca Cola for sale, they couldn´t get away with it. Community admins told they would take care of it :D Probably they´ll kill him.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by DiMono on October 2, 2007 at 11:30am: I've noticed that the capabilities of the html area are different based on where you are. When starting or posting in a forum discussion you can insert html right in the html area, but when posting an image the html that is generated is different between the two: when starting a discussion the float is in the img tag, but when responding the img is wrapped in a floated paragraph tag.

Also, when making a blog entry, you have more options, but it's a wysiwyg editor, so any html you type without looking at the html code-behind will be parsed as-is instead of used as actual html code, which is inconsistent. You also have preview on your blog, but not on discussion posts. I don't like inconsistency, it makes me poop at irregular intervals.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Edward Latina on October 3, 2007 at 6:25pm: Ok, i didnt read through all of the posts in here cuz I don't have the time, but I would like to see a poll option added for discussions. Like "What Ninja weapon do you like best?" Then there are a few choices (made by the poll creator), blah blah blah, you get the point. And then it displays what the percentage of each choice is.

And something that I might like to see but i dont know how it would go over with the community (ive been in communities that just over use this ability) but to have a reputation marker. That way you can give +props to people who make a good point or defend the little man. and of course -props to guys who are immature or pick on other community members. That way new people know what to expect of their fellow community members.

One last thing: for the badges, a way to add the badges to sites that support YABBC and such. You know, the whole [url=fans.askaninja.com]Ask A Ninja Fan Site![/url] stuff; ▶ Reply to This

I can't figure out how to get to certain things without going through my email. For example, how do I get to the friends invitation page. If I click on "friends," I don't see any new invites I have or the pending invites I sent.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Grade A Ninja on October 3, 2007 at 10:22pm: If you have a friend request, the person icon on top will have the words 'New!'. When you click it, it'll drop down and show you those users who have requested your friendship. Another way to see if you have a friend request is go to 'My Page' tab. In the middle portion of the screen, you will see a yellow colored box stating the following:

"You have 1 friend request!
Click here to view your friend requests."

If you don't see that on your 'My Page', then you don't have any people whom want to befriend you.

Conversely, if you click on the person looking icon on top, there are 'tabs' on the left side that you can navigate. If you click on 'My Friends', you'll see the list of people who have accepted your invitation to be friends; otherwise, they will still show in the 'Sent' tab as pending approval.; ▶ Reply to This

Just a general note, you will see a little lock icon next to any profile question that is hidden. Your email should be one of them.; ▶ Reply to This
